PERFORMING DJ, 2012
In a one hour long DJ-set Lisa Kortschak intervenes musically into the album Step across the border by Fred Frith while introducing it to songs of some of her favorit musicians such as Gill Scott Heron and Nina Simone. Lisa Kortschak interacts with the played set by adding her own vocals to Fred Frith’s album or becoming the backing vocalist of her beloved musicians. At another point the DJ sings along with the music, but the corresponding music plays in the DJ’s headphones only.
